Pick-Up first spawn delay
Pick-Up racers are always a mess and sum it all up to who got the zap/oil at the first try. They leave everything to chance. This can be easily spotted in the first lap of each track, where the havok of cluttered cars plus the pickups turn the race into a roulette where only the ones who can escape ...

Disable Car Collision in MP; suggestion regarding getting the same pick-up twice in a row
Lag is something we all have to deal with when playing on-line. Sometimes you can get pushed by some lagging racer, completely ruining a race if given the right conditions. Setting up an option to enable/disable car collision can be a good solution to this. Pick-Ups may work anyway, even the bomb, t...

Re: Suggestion regarding RNG pick-up selection
And why are you against it? I dont think it will make the game less fun. I think everybody knows that pick-ups can and will change the outcome of a race no matter what and weights are pretty fucкеd up right now in my opinion, i dont want to win with 3 batteries in a row, hence, i dont want nobody to...

Re: Suggestion regarding RNG pick-up selection
Either way noone needs two batteries or two bombs in a row on SP and championship isnt it?
Correct me if im wrong, but pick-ups weight was altered some updates ago, i think an attempt to make things more balanced (at least a little bit) wouldnt hurt.

Suggestion regarding RNG pick-up selection
Change the pick-up system to be unable to give you the same pick-up twice in a row.
This suggestion, although small, can make a big difference on-line. People wouldnt get overwhelmed by 3 consecutive bombs and wont get that unfair advantage of 4 zaps anymore.

Re: Mapcycle system
Necropost, but i think that it could -besides the mapcycle system- feature a more dynamic way to change laps and toggle pickups, if needed. Something like
{track = <track folder>
laps = <number>
pickups = <1/0>}
or:
<Track folder> <laps> <pickups on/off>
{track = <track folder>
laps = <number>
pickups = <1/0>}
or:
<Track folder> <laps> <pickups on/off>

Lobby in-game description and window & chat keybinding
A string that let the host write a description to his/her lobby. This suggestion would be a bit pointless since you can always put a description where you post the ip at, but there are always people that either dont read it at all or get the ip's from another source, and also an in-game desc guarant...

[Done] Auto-generated .txt chat log file
An auto generated .txt file along with the session log ones, which can register any message sent in-game. It could be set just using the same -sessionlog shortcut command.

Re: RVGL in-game updater
Uhm sorry but no, an integrated update feature would be more user-friendly for those unfamiliarized with all this new re-volt era. Most newbies will not want to download third party software or simply wont know how. And i think this would be more plausible for those cases.

Ok then, just remove the auto update thingy and just make it an option in the main menu to update the game. There are many games with this feature, and it is way more faster

RVGL in-game updater
An Updater which comes with rvgl (an option in the main menu) where you can check for updates, and update (if necessary). And -if it is not much of a hassle- an option to update the game automatically once the game has been ran, or in tray while the game isnt running.

Re: [Closed | UNIMPLEMENTED] Double-sided flag for collision faces has no effect
You can still do a workaround and duplicate the selected faces and flip their normals to the opposite direction, remember to keep a minimal gap between both bunch of faces. If not, the car or any object will get stuck as soon as they collide with the faces

Mapcycle system
Add a mapcycle system, where the host can pre-select the tracks that will be raced, and the mode (either mirrored, reversed or reversed-mirrored). A good example could be the mapcycle.txt in half-life and counter-strike, where you just use a line for every map, and they are playedin descendent order...

[Closed | INVALID] Suggestion regarding visibox behaviour
The current behaviour of visiboxes could be changed. Instead of hiding entire cubes it could hide single faces (tris and quads).

Re: More CatchUp values
It would be better if we can adjust the "aggresiveness" or AI skill to our current skills, that way veteran players got some extra challenge against ai without ruining newbies' gameplay with OP and überaggressive ai.
