Soundtrack WAVS
Hi, Does anyone have the original soundtrack, as well as the New RV Soundtrack on WAV format? I really like a few tracks from both and would like to encorperate them into my Spotify playlists without having to convert them from OGG to MP3 (Spotify cannot play locally stored OGG files, which is ironi...

Re: Blender 2.79 Re-Volt Add-on
I was wondering if someone has already tried to update this addon to the newsest version of blender. There's one recently for 2.9+ by Dummiesman. Although It wasn't updated from Marv's, but rather rewritten from scratch, I'm pretty sure, and is lacking certain features. https://github.com/Dummiesma...

Texture is Applied to model but won't go into RVGL?
I'm making a car in Blender and trying to put it in Re-Volt. So far it's been successful, in the fact that the model is imported into RVGL. However, the textures that I have made and applied to the car and wheels will not go into RVGL. I've unwrapped the car and wheels using Blender 2.9's smart unwr...

Re: Any Good Re-Volt custom car tutorials
If the obj doesn't keep the mapping, try some other format for the transition. Bblender supports several, try them. Greetz, Ato Someone has created a prm exporter for Blender 2.9, so I've been using it to export to 2.79b, but only on occasion does it keep it's texture, where most of the time the te...

Re: Blender 2.79 Re-Volt Add-on
Just recently there is a release of it: https://github.com/Dummiesman/ReVoltBlenderAddon I can't seem to download it https://github.com/Dummiesman/ReVoltBlenderAddon/archive/refs/heads/main.zip When I try using the 2.9 version to export to Re-Volt, the model increases from the size I set it to (I s...

Re: RVGL Launcher
I'm not entirely sure how it works. Do I have to install the packs and then it adds them to RVGL? Or does it download them itself then adds them to RVGL? I'm trying to get it to do the latter, but it isn't installing anything.

Re: Any Good Re-Volt custom car tutorials
Well, you can do Smart UV Unwrap or UV Unwrap from View, in Blender. That usually gives a good layout for mapping. Well, I'm no good at making textures, sry. I always use an existing model from somwhere. Greetz, Ato Ok. Do you know anyone who knows anything? I've been using Blender 2.93 to make the...

Re: Any Good Re-Volt custom car tutorials
Wel done for now. The model is too big in Blender. Import a stock car's body.prm into the same blend file for comparison, you can delete it after resizing your car's body. Greetz, Ato Ok, I have resized the body and now I'm making the wheel arches bigger (I know how to do this). I'm just having a b...

Also, I exported to body to re-volt to test it (I'm not finished with it yet, still needs textures and finalising) and when I add it to my car, the body is extremely big for whatever reason

Re: Any Good Re-Volt custom car tutorials
Typically, you would UV unwrap the model, export the UV layout and use it as a guide to paint the texture in whatever image editor. Cars in RV only use a single texture so everything related to it has to be on there. You could still make the texture first then try to map it on to the model but this...

Re: Any Good Re-Volt custom car tutorials
All you ever need to create a car is Blender 2.79b with the RV plugin, you won't require the use of any archaic tools. Any image editor that you feel comfortable with can be used to make textures but I wouldn't recommend Paint. For editing parameters, you only need Notepad, Notepad++, whatever you ...

Norton (and I presume other antivirus softwares too) thinks that Re-Volt.io is a scam website? I managed to whitelist it, but I think it's a bit odd that theu thought it in the first place

Re: Any Good Re-Volt custom car tutorials
Params from TopEnd to MaxRevs are for show only. They don't change anything in the car's actual handling. Changes come from all the other parametters. Greetz, Ato. I have established that before, I read the notes. Do you know how to make PRM models in blender, Texture them and make Re-Volt accept t...
