To the second question: perhaps the model center does not match at prm and ncp.
Try to import (in empty blender) at first the prm and then the ncp which should find its position exactly overlapping the prm.
Another issue may be the face normals, these have to show to outside direction.

Do you use several profiles ?
When starting the game you are asked which profile should be used.
Perhaps you took and empty one.

it's Windows 10 home since 2021.

First I tried -cubevisi with no effect, but -noshader makes the game ok again.

No, I deleted all data and made a complete new installation.
But I don't know if there are still some settings remaining deep in windows.
Because it still looks very much like something you would have modified.
Yes I agree, but have no idea what or where to look..

Now I found when starting the game "as administrator" it works normal.

But when starting as user (what I always did for years) it has these graphical effects.

No, I didn't touch any graphic or OpenGL etc. options.
And I do not have any other games on this computer.

A new installation did not help.

Revolt starts in rainbow colors

Hello guys,
today my RVGL starts in rainbow colors which looks like a graphical error:
RVGLrainbow.jpg
The non-RVGL installation starts as usual.

I hope it's only a Revolt and not a hardware problem.
Has anybody perhaps some ideas to solve this ?

My idea would be a track screen for reversed (R) mode, which is in the ../gfx folder.
Now it's only the gfx upside down.

This could be saved in the ../custom/reversed folder.
Then you could save it 180° and get a proper view from the reversed start position.

Funny idea I would support !

I just tried out to manipulate ..\cars\misc\shadow.bmp (bmq).
It's not easy because skid marks are a bunch of vertical lines which in game appear by different lengths.
But first results were not too bad.
