Re: Tips and Tricks for car texturing and carbox making
This is extremely handy. I'm seeing some nice tricks there that I might have never thought of on my own. Thanks, pinned!

That might be unlikely for a while, but on Android you also have RVGL Butler.

Re: Automatic updates for the main rvgl binary
In case this won't be implemented directly into RVGL, note that the upcoming RVGL Launcher will take care of updates, both for RVGL itself and for content packs (where possible).

Re: Ubuntu - pathetic!
Same here, I also use Linux Mint and never had any of these issues. Before that, I've used Antergos, Ubuntu MATE and Xubuntu, and RVGL did not cause any issues on them either. I've also got RetroArch installed and it still works perfectly fine; I don't see how installing RVGL and its required librar...

Re: Lunar track - faulty trial time
I thought the I/O version fixed that issue, not bring it to the table. I do not seem to see it happening on my end, at least.
Edit: It seems like the issue is not present in the version linked by SebR either. Where did you get the track from? What car are you trying to do a time trial with?

Christmas Championship 2020
Does anyone here still remember Christmas Championship 2010 ? I had quite the lofty vision with that tourney, and definitely had no idea what I was doing. 11 hours of nearly non-stop racing? Christ. Still, despite how the cars turned out , and despite how poorly I handled my first tourney, I couldn'...

Re: RVGL now on Arch Linux AUR
Hi there, I just got around to trying this out on Manjaro. Thank you for setting it up. A couple of things to note: First off, it seemed like it took a very long time to download everything. Not certain whether this is on my side or the server—I am using a mobile connection right now, but it's also ...

Re: Multiple instances of RVGL well organized
What OS are you using? If you are on Linux, it would be possible to organize it efficiently if you use symlinks. For instance, if you move out the cars folder from the game directory, then create a symlink of it in its place, the game will still load the cars properly. On Windows, I'm as clueless as...

Most Wikia websites have been moved to Fandom.com. The website should automatically redirect you, in this case, to https://revolt.fandom.com/wiki/Dust_Mite. Do you have any plugins preventing redirects?

Has this been resolved yet? If not, perhaps I could act as a middleman? You could transfer the money to my PayPal account, and I'll make the donation in your name. In case you have any doubts, I can make the donation first if you tell me the amount you have in mind. I'll send you more info in a PM.

Re: Language Speak Category Suggestion
Something like that cannot be moderated, therefore I'm sorry to say that the answer is no. However, non-English communities for Re-Volt tend to find their place on Discord , although unfortunately we don't have one for Turkish yet. If you or anyone else ends up creating a server dedicated to Turkish...

Re: Converting a car from LEGO Racers for RVGL Re-Volt. How could I do that myself or if anyone could do that for me?
You don't need much 3D modelling experience for this project, since most of the work is converting the assets. At the moment we just really need people who are willing to help out with the project, no matter how little, so anything helps! As mentioned, for the time being we just have the project ove...

Re: Converting a car from LEGO Racers for RVGL Re-Volt. How could I do that myself or if anyone could do that for me?
Hey, just so you know, the Lego-Volt project (available on the RV Workshop Discord server) is dedicated to converting assets from Lego Racers to Re-Volt, including the cars. The project has been on hiatus for a while due to an issue with the tracks, but a push wouldn't hurt. If you'd like to contrib...

Registration usually works just fine, so this might be a more uncommon case here. What email provider do you use? Have you checked the spam folders? Just in case, try registering again ("RacingDude" does not appear in the members list yet), and make sure you use a more common email provide...

Re: Need help with password restore on revoltzone.net
I think the reason no one responded so far is because we don't really have much of an answer to give you. Re-Volt Zone has been neglected for a very long time—we have moderators who can approve cars and tracks, but the administrator who can handle matters like this hasn't been active in years, unfor...

Re: How to make custom lego tracks including "special" blocks?
These count as "Lego Extreme" tracks, which basically means that the authors built the base in the Track Editor and then remodeled them in 3D modeling software such as Blender (with the Re-Volt Add-On ). In the past, authors used various tools such as ZModeler, RV-Glue and a whole lot more...

Re: Give player(s) host permissions
Agreed, this would be incredibly useful. I'd also add that it would make dedicated servers a lot more feasible if we had a way to automatically assign host permissions to certain players (based on IP, maybe).

Re: Post upload tweaking at RVZ
All my point is trying to state is that there are a lot of 'updates' and may be the site should have an "Newly Updated" section or may be a "Released For Testing" section. Just so all the updates do not get lost with all the other post's. It actually is possible to see the lates...

That's alright. Despite the rows of "no" above, don't feel discouraged about sharing your opinion with us. I disagree with it, but no hard feelings, right? All I can add is that, personally, it wouldn't sit right with me to abstain from updating my content if I wanted to do it. Perhaps it ...

Re: Post upload tweaking at RVZ
There are several reasons why people update their content and should continue doing so: Firstly, the best way to find out the flaws of your content is by releasing it and allowing the players to try it out. Criticism will be given, and the author can use that feedback to improve their content. True,...

Update: While we're at it, maybe the way that honk sounds are amplified when pressed before the race begins could be tweaked too.

Honk SFX should keep distance in mind at all times
My entry for Haus-All-Goes has a honk file that's a minute long. It's really fun to mess with everyone like this, because once I honk near them, they'll hear the entirety of the sound effect at the same volume, no matter how far away they get from me . Good stuff. That said, as fun as it is, the hon...
