Re: Kindly help setting up a Logitech G29?
Hello there, I've seen many people playing in a steering wheel, wanted to try that in my Logitech G29. However, I'm not sure how to set it up. The game recognizes the wheel, but it acts as if I was pressing "down" infinitely. It's impossible to navigate menus and play with it. Currently m...

Re: A series of network bugs (?)
I can see a couple of things going wrong, but it'd be helpful if we have a clear description of the issues so we know exactly what we should be looking at. For one, it looks like everyone except you get the countdown but you are stuck waiting. Any idea why you alone are waiting? (eg, was your connec...

Re: In the memory of Dave-o-rama
I don't know what to say. I knew he took game design in university, so there were times I used to think about him, wondering what he's doing these days. I had no idea he was going through these health issues. I had no idea he had *both* his kidneys removed. This is the last thing I'd have expected. ...
Re: Ranch
I restored the links. Can you try again? You can also get it from Re-Volt World as that should have the latest version.
Re: Ranch
I'm using the 23.1030 version of the game on Android, there seem to be some weird black smoke effects around all cars on this track: https://ibb.co/K5H7Z1X It's possible that your version of Ranch is outdated. Can you try again with the latest version of the track from the first post? It should be ...

Re: Graphical Errors in Menu & Game
Hello Huki, Thanks for your reply. Can you by any chance provide a small/minor guide as to how to " disable SSO (set EnableSSO = 0 in profiles/rvgl.ini) ". My knowledge of how and where to do that is somewhat limited. Best Regards Inside your game folder, there is a profiles folder. Insid...

Re: What are the System Requirements for RVGL?
The current RVGL builds require at least Windows XP with the latest service pack applied (that is SP3 for 32-bit, or SP2 for 64-bit). Even if we are to build the game binary for an older Windows version, possibly one or more dependencies (eg, SDL2) will still have the XP requirement. So running on W...

Re: Graphical Errors in Menu & Game
Hello. This issue has been reported by a few players, and it seems to be introduced by a recent driver update for AMD graphics cards. The latest AMD driver breaks the support for an OpenGL feature called Separate Shader Objects. The exact cause behind this is unknown, but the recommended workaround ...

Re: [Glitch] Skin Selector - It works poorly after the suffix length limit
I detected that the skin selector has an problem after the suffix length, if you put a skin with longer character names (Unlimited name), it does not detect it and therefore it will be displayed within the game, a double from another skin that works correctly. The normal thing is that the skin is n...

Re: unable to install libwebp6/libfluidsynth1
libfluidsynth3 is also supported for distros that provide that version, so it should be fine. As for webp, the exact version of webp required depends on the version of the SDL2_image library, and since both are provided by the distro, they both tend to satisfy each other. So just get the version of ...

I redid it. At the same time, I revised some of the letters and redid them too. https://drive.google.com/file/d/11Gl2ZdEMWKyyLTgsrOQ21MvznVcBkGF1/view?usp=share_link This is much better. :) What is the maximum width of the letters in pixels if the texture resolution is 512x512 and 256x256? For a 51...

Re: Button that removes repository doesn't work in RVGL Launcher
I added RVA repository long ago and recently found out that it has changed so I wanted to delete and replace it, but couldn't delete it through the launcher, so it's not only about default repositories I believe There also were some repositories that didn't look like default ones (like ARM and duc'...

Re: Button that removes repository doesn't work in RVGL Launcher
The default set of repositories cannot be removed or disabled, only user added repositories can be removed. But it's weird that the remove button is not greyed out in such cases - that needs to be fixed. I'm also thinking about letting the user disable any repository except the base I/O repo (which ...

Re: Bomb not exploding
I discovered certain situations when the bug could actually happen. I've fixed them now, but the fix didn't make it into the upcoming hotfix update. You'll have to wait until the next release for this one. The bug, like Kilabarus said, was caused by the player's bomb flag not being reset correctly. ...

I also tried to use all the different OpenGL Profiles in the rvgl.ini because i read that the D3D Profile has something to do with ANGLE but that didnt work, it always switched back to the ES profile. ANGLE has different uses on different platforms. On Windows, it can convert OpenGL code to Direct3...

Re: RVGL Android Lighting/Shader Bug
The device has Samsung's new Xclipse 920 GPU. Surprisingly, Samsung is not providing a native OpenGL driver for this GPU. Instead, it's using the ANGLE translation layer to convert an application's OpenGL rendering code to Vulkan. On Android, we use 16-bit RGB565 framebuffers for performance reasons...
