Re: Can't raise or lower modules in the Track Editor

As far as I know you do need the numpad keys. It would be great if this turned out to be otherwise, though. ;) I'm a bit confused, though: you say you're on a laptop but you also seem to indicate you do have a numpad. What's the point about being on a laptop, then? :P Maybe share a picture of your k...

Re: MARVLE. A Re-Volt Total Conversion

Wow, you're really doing research, it seems. :o Very cool!
And it sounds like a fun challenge to beat levels with marbles that aren't apparently supposed to be able to beat them. ;)

Re: [Change Request] Battle Tag Jump issue - Prohibit Axis key mapping and key macros for Repo/Jump button

Thanks for your post! I haven't played Battle Tag recently and haven't seen this issue, but I would also like it to not be possible. I think double jumps themselves might be unintended, however, so it might be a bit strange to remove the ability to very easily do it but keep the ability to do it at ...

I'm glad you put more time into this than expected, as it's looking great! :D This would be worth playing just for how unique it is, but if it's actually good, that's of course a lot better.

Re: [Change Request] Remove Random view changes after Battle Tag when watching other players

I think the button for the view angle if F1. I also recall (didn't check) that using F1 disables the automatic switching for a limited time. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Re: Satellite images experiment

None of the names seem very good, to be honest. At the same time, I think any would be okay, although I think 'Topsy' and 'Turkey Run' would give rise to ideas about the track that are untrue.

Re: [RVGL] Battle Tag Star Speed Bug

Huh, that's interesting! It shouldn't be that way, I think, as you can't even play Battle Tag against AI. It's also a bit concerning that it took a year for someone to notice. :o

This is strange. I have never heard of this issue. Have you experimented with the steering range option? Edit: Also, have you tested the controller with something else, so you know it works as expected?

Hey, that's interesting! I don't think it looks great, but if possible, it could be cool to race through places you know (but with a huge car :P).

Sounds fun! I'm not sure yet if I'm in, though. I'll consider, and anyway Zeino already has too many challengers. :P

What do you mean by proportional steering? It is possible to use analog controls for steering.

Could you test the version from when you set the time on Mysterious Toy-Volt Factory to see if it still doesn't happen there, with the old RVGL build and the current Linux build?

Re: I built a 24-hour RVGL AutoServer for East Asians.

Hey, that's cool!
I wonder if it will be used much, though, considering that usually there will be someone available with ports forwarded. But maybe that's not the case in East Asia. :)

Re: POD: Re-Volted Project

Oh trust me the cars will come before a lot of tracks, there's still like 20-something tracks left. About the reason, I just didn't want to spam RVZ with POD cars, and it's better to have a pack that people can download with one click. Makes sense! Good to hear there are still plenty more tracks. :D

Re: POD: Re-Volted Project

I'll release all the cars when they're all done, as a pack. Aha! Why, I wonder? I liked trying out new tracks and new cars in combination, and for the past few tracks there have not been new cars to use on them. And I assume that when the car pack is released, there won't be enough upcoming tracks ...

mrroblinx wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:08 am It sure does. If it wasn't for the custom animations update, I don't think I would make this project a reality. But so much more things are possible with that update now... it's insane.
And it's lovely to see the new possibilities being used! :)
Edit: Are more cars coming as well?

Re: Random AI Cars

An interesting idea. I would probably use it, if it was an option. By the way, RC Bandit is in Rookie, not Amateur. :P A related option that I would value above this suggested option is being able to select whose rating to race against when playing (split-screen) multi-player, or, alternatively, the...

Re: Zeino's Monthly Time Trial Challenges

Yes, I suggest getting the IO packs as they have all the tracks and the car all together which makes it easier for them to get it I suppose. As far as I know the I/O track pack and car pack are downloaded separately, though, so there is no time save for downloading the car pack as opposed to the se...
