You cycle through camera views with the Change Camera button. This is F1 by default, unless it was reconfigured. In Replay and Spectator modes, pressing F1 does disable the automatic switching.

There is currently no in-game option, but you can change it by editing your profile configuration file (profiles/<your-name>/profile.ini, MultiPlayerCPU = 1).

In this case, updating RVGL is really the answer. A fix for Intel HD 3000 was added in the latest version:
  - Shaders: Restored lights and effects layout to use distinct uniform arrays. 
    Works around Intel driver bugs that cause crash during shader compilation.

Found the issue. It was a bug in field file format detection that caused legacy field files to use wrong properties. A similar issue exists in legacy (eg, stock) cam files. Both should be fixed for the next release.

Analog controls should work without needing any special configuration. If this is not working correctly, post the log file (profiles\re-volt.log) and I'll look into it.

This means the game files were not placed correctly. Make sure the folders cars, levels, wavs, and so on are directly inside the RVGL folder. You could ask for help in Discord if you have more troubles.

The track "Mysterious Re-Volt Factory" doesn't use the conveyor effect. In fact it simply has a force field over the area. So we can narrow this down to just an issue with force fields. (Unless you experienced the same issue in Museum 2 conveyor belt, but I don't think so).

In the next release, it will be possible to set the startgrid zoom (technically called as the sweep camera) with the following *.inf key:

Code: Select all

SWEEPCAM  1  ; 0 to disable, 1 to enable

For now there is no further option to customize the coordinates, but this can be added later.
