Android with Split-Screen Support

Hi Community,
only an idea. I´m not sure how much effort it is, but what about the Split-Screen Multiplayer mode at the Android platform? I know it sounds strange, but i installed it on my nvidia shield Android TV and it works. Currently adding the controller mapping, but it starts up and can run races, but what i miss is the split-screen mode, i loved this mode in the old days when i played re-volt at my 486 DX2 machine.
And if i can add the mode by manipulating an ini file or so, please tell me which one.
