The Re-Volt Hideout

Hey Gang - new racer on the block.

I successfully downloaded RVGL (not the latest version from this month), however when my squad tries to join a race, the game launches, they see "Connecting to Lobby" until the countdown expires, then they are returned to RV House saying connection to host has timed out.

We have added Firewall exceptions for RVGL and RV House. Hoping this is a common issue that has a semi-easy fix? The online help docs did seem address this issue.

The host of a game has to open (forward) certain router ports and firewall, joining people don't have to do it. The host also has to forward certain ports in the firewall settings (done via browser). Type in your browser your IPv4 number, login to your router and find something like "port forwarding" and forward ports accordingly to the site I linked.

RVGL needs 2310 UDP port forwarded to host.
The guide in Re-Volt race is for RVHouse and original Re-Volt (and 1.2 patch), but not RVGL.
