Converting a car from LEGO Racers for RVGL Re-Volt. How could I do that myself or if anyone could do that for me?

Hey, just so you know, the Lego-Volt project (available on the RV Workshop Discord server) is dedicated to converting assets from Lego Racers to Re-Volt, including the cars. The project has been on hiatus for a while due to an issue with the tracks, but a push wouldn't hurt. If you'd like to contribute, just drop by in the server and request access to the project.

This version of the Rocket Racer car is one built from scratch, but we're planning on covering the cars from the game as well.
Regardless, I don't remember the exact process, but I posted a topic about it on the RRU forums and we used that as a base to get us started. Some of us can probably help further if you end up joining the project.
Also, the Count Pongula car was actually an experiment to see how easily the cars can be converted. If I remember, it was a pretty smooth process, but it seemed like getting the drivers in the car might have been a bit tricky? Been a long time though, so not certain.

You don't need much 3D modelling experience for this project, since most of the work is converting the assets. At the moment we just really need people who are willing to help out with the project, no matter how little, so anything helps!
As mentioned, for the time being we just have the project over on the RV Workshop. I'm also thinking of creating a topic here for the project in an attempt to draw more attention, but you should join the server regardless if you want to be more actively involved. Just leave a message in the #general channel as soon as you join and I'll give you access.

Might be off-topic but I want to use Real Racing 3 assets for making cars. I converted the assets but they use multiple textures. Is there a way to bake the vehicle’s parts and bake it into one texture in Blender?
OT:
I would also want to convert assets from Lego Racers too. Except I don’t own the game. I didn’t play games on CD-ROM.

You're right, that seems off-topic to me. You can create your own topic or ask in the Discord server.idkwhattotype wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 11:37 am Might be off-topic but I want to use Real Racing 3 assets for making cars.
