Hello!

I have 2 (Windows 10) PCs with RVGL being started via the Launcher and would like to share the same rvgl.ini and profile.ini files on both PCs. How can I tell RVGL or/and the Launcher that the files are stored under a different path (shared SMB folder)?

I know that changing file content while the game is running might have inadvertent effects, but i can test this. However, I would first need to know if that is in general possible and how to tell the programs where to look (see my question above).

Alternatively, I could leave the files where they are and sync them between both PCs.

You can set a different path for save files using the -prefpath launch parameter (look under the Launch Parameters doc section). Add it to the launcher like "-prefpath <path to SMB folder>".

I'm planning to support changing the installation path in the launcher and I think an option to set the save path would be useful too. Until this is added, you need the set the launch parameter yourself.
