Add local repo to launcher?

Maybe you would like to consider for the launcher a possibility to add an own (local) repository by providing a local link?
(e.g. local machine or shared drive)
I downloaded https://distribute.re-volt.io/packages.json to my local Desktop, renamed the file to test.json, and entered the path in the launcher - see screenshot. However, it shows as "offline". Maybe it is not (yet) intended to work like this?
