Per-car custom treadmarks
Like TSHADOW and TCARBOX before it, maybe a TTREAD could be introduced. Treadmark textures are processed the same way as shadow maps, so this doesn't seem TOO far-fetched to implement.

Funny idea I would support !
I just tried out to manipulate ..\cars\misc\shadow.bmp (bmq).
It's not easy because skid marks are a bunch of vertical lines which in game appear by different lengths.
But first results were not too bad.
