I'm kind of surprised I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, I just stumbled upon it myself while looking for information about the new Nvidia graphics cards -> https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2022/09/2 ... -rtx-demo/
I'm also hoping for a full standalone release, but the mentioning of "NVIDIA Omniverse" worries me a bit.
Interestingly there's barely any news since that initial reveal, that announced November 2022 release never happened and apparently its now planned to come out some time this year -> https://old.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comment ... _date_any/
Of course it looks amazing, I just wonder how enjoyable the physics are going to be for gameplay and if they're going full realism or a more arcadey handling à la "RC Racers".That something is a fully simulated, real-time playable environment — inspired by the team’s shared favorite childhood game, Re-Volt. In Racer RTX, radio-controlled cars zoom through Los Angeles streets, a desert and a chic loft bedroom.
