Rotate car 360° after being unboxed

Not sure if this exists already:
On the car selection screen, after selecting a car, is it possible to rotate the car so that it can be viewed from all angles? That would be quite useful for painting a skin, as the skin gets updated almost in real time (just need to switch skins back and forth).
That feature would fit very well to Re-Volt, as those 3D viewer modes were very common in early 3D games like on many titles on the N64.
