The Re-Volt Hideout

Has anyone tried to use the Re-Volt World modding website over the past couple of days? It was working fine last week up until a couple days ago when it started looking like a badly designed website, and the page was in Indonesian - it looked nothing like the modding website I know and love. I tried logging on today and now it simply can't connect. If there's a problem, it must be on administration's end.

Yes, it was sort of breached. Data is fine, but the site itself is currently under maintenance. No ETA given or I know of yet.

Yeah, someone commented it on one of my videos. Hopefully it can be up and running again soon!

Are there no more detailled informations ?

I hope the site comes back. I've been playing Re-Volt for a long time and I've always enjoyed the custom cars and tracks that other users have made and I'd be hoping to see more in case the site returns.

For me, when I try to go to the site, I only get a blank white page. Are you sure it's back up?

Here's the thing though. I'm using my phone to play RVGL, which I downloaded as an apk, and also to browse Re-voltworld. I enabled function keys on the phone and did the F5 command, but it didn't work. I still have the blank white page. I guess it's gonna be harder to get it up since I'm not doing all of this on a regular computer. I also have been using my Chromebook to browse Re-voltworld, and it's the same thing there with the command

On your browser setting try set it to ask for computer page instead of cell phone one ...

If you're talking about setting it to desktop site, I tried that and same thing

I'm seemingly running into the same issue as EDB97, or at least a nearly-identical one.

Visiting https://www.revoltworld.net/ on both Firefox and Google Chrome (both on desktop) produces a blank white page; hard refreshing on either browser doesn't resolve the error. I also tried using my smartphone using both data and my local wi-fi; same results both tries.

FWIW, I'm currently in Michigan (in the midwestern United States), if that helps to diagnose any potential problems.

My first assumption is that my devices' location is causing them to get mistakenly caught by new protections implemented in the wake of the recent breach, but I'll also admit that my understanding of network communications is rather subpar — I would not be surprised to learn that the real source of the error exists between the keyboard and the chair, so to speak.

I've got some wonderful news now. I tried to go to the website just now, and I'm seeing the page again. I guess it was simply a matter of waiting for it to come back

For us it was a case of waiting, for admins it was a matter of actually fixing/restoring the site.
