After 12 years, Re-Volt Zone is going offline. I suppose most of us had seen this coming, with the immense decrease in activity, fairly shortly after the introduction of Re-Volt World. This will still be a big loss to the community, though, I think, as RVZ is a lot easier to navigate than XTG and has a lot more (older) content than RVW. Furthermore, XTG does not have cars, of course. It is of course great that Zach is going to share the backup. I'm not sure if I will have the hard drive space to keep it myself, though. Also, Zach does not appear to have an account here, and I personally don't know how to contact him. Who does?

Do you know why?

Thank you for 12 years (although I'd have bet on a lot longer!).

For a long time, XTG has got irregular updates, I think LC doesn't have as much time for it anymore. In general, I think we should 'worry' about its future as well.
But for now, let's focus on RVZ. Who has Zach's contact details? The backup of RVZ should be spread amongst the community, as there is lots of content that is on RVZ and not on RVW. This content should be preserved!
Edit: It seems that RVZ has already gone offline. I was not expecting it this quickly...
