RVCMD - Windows batch file/program for Re-Volt

Unread post by Mr. Burguers » Thu Sep 06, 2018 4:51 pm

RVCMD This is a Windows batch file, downloading, extracting and then double-clicking it should give you more information on how to use it. It can currently:
  • detect unused/leftover files,
  • download and extract: RVZ files (by ID), I/O packs (from list), and RVGL.
  • list your currently installed levels and cars in a grid using your browser.
Feel free to ask questions, give feedback, suggest features and report bugs either in the Discord server, the Re-Volt Zone page or here.
This post will be edited once I officially release it to RVZ's tools section.

RVCMD - Update to 19.0517 (release 2)

Unread post by Mr. Burguers » Fri May 17, 2019 8:57 pm

I have updated RVCMD to 19.0517 (release 2).
The biggest change is that you no longer have to fiddle around with launch options; instead, you can now press keys to toggle things on/off. Full changelog below:
+ Added (crappy) UI for selection.
+ Added option to list "car name - folder name" to file.
+ Added option to launch RVGL.
+ Excluded spruimage.bmp and spruimage.bmq from the unused file check.
- Removed command line flag detection.
* Fixed "Found graphic(s)." message if you had no files in gfx folder.
* Fixed possible starting directory error on Windows 10.
* Downloading an RVGL package and choosing "download another" no longer makes downloads stuck in RVGL package mode.
* Fixed problems when trying to delete a file with spaces.
* Internal code changes.
