I don't think this is actually a bug by design and I'm unsure where else to post this but it's something I've always been curious about.
If a car with any translucent polygons inevitably repositions during a race, the translucency is lost until a new race is started.
Is it possible to address this in future or am I doing something wrong with the process of making them translucent? I've also noticed this before on cars made years ago. Here is an example.

The problem only affects the legacy renderer. The recommended solution is to enable shaders.
